Engineering Drawing Digitization and GIS Indexing

Project Description: The City of Victoria is seeking a qualified vendor to digitize and spatially index roughly 2,044 sheets of historical engineering drawings for integration into the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS). The project requires the conversion of physical paper records into high-resolution, PDF/A files, and the creation of a relational spatial database that links these documents to existing municipal street centerline data. The objective is to provide City staff with a point-and-click interface to access historical as-built information directly from the map. The Scope of Work is outlined at the end of this document.
