Description

Non-Emergent Medical Transportation services are required by statute under 38 USC 111A, and this short-term bridge contract is to ensure continuity of services for 6 months while a new, base plus four option year contract is being procured.



The Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS), its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and affiliated healthcare clinics require contracted non-emergent wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory transportation services. The contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for the provision of non-emergent wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory transportation services. The contactor shall make these non-emergent wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory transportation services available to the VA as needed, 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24/7), including weekends and holidays.
