CITY OF PORT HURON, MICHIGAN
CONNER STREET CONVERSION
PROJECT NO. C26-0030
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Port Huron, Michigan, by mail or in person in the office of
the City Clerk, 1st Floor, 100 McMonan Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan 48060 until 3 :00 p.m. on
Thursday June 25, 2026 and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read in
Meeting Room101 of the aforesaid Municipal Office Center.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for road reconstruction
including pavement removal, utility replacement, resurfacing asphalt pavement, storm sewer, and lawn
restoration along Conner Street between Military Street and Electric A venue as shown on the Drawings or
specified in the Project Manual.
Bidding documents including drawings and project manual contract documents, including instruction to
bidders forn1, agreement and specifications may be examined and shall be obtained from the Michigan
Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website by BidNet Connect, Located at
https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn beginning on Thursday June 11, 2026. All Bidders shall obtain a
complete set of bid documents, including all posted addenda, from the City of Port Huron via MITN.
A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a
surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No
bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All
bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose.
The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or inegularities in
the bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the said City's interests. The
successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory perfonnance, labor and materials bonds,
maintenance and guarantee bonds, and insurance certificates.
All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for contractors bidding
on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders. Contractor must comply with the
City of Port Huron Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance. For questions regarding this project, please
