Airside E Passenger Boarding Bridge Replacement

The Project will consist of replacing all passenger boarding bridges in Airside E with corrugated metal bridges, including equipment and associated improvements to support their new systems.

The Passenger Boarding Bridges at Airside E have reached the end of their service life and require replacement. In addition, associated electrical and mechanical systems are aging and need upgrades. The Project scope includes the replacement of thirteen (13) Passenger Boarding Bridges at Airside E, installing new central preconditioned air (PCA) units and ground power units (GPUs), and refurbishing bridge cooling units. The Work will also involve mechanical, electrical, and technology infrastructure improvements to serve the new bridges. Modifications to aircraft parking positions and airside ramp striping to support the desired fleet mix are also included.
