TEGUC - Preventive Maintenance Services for Electric Switchgears

Amendment 0001:

The purpose of this amendment to the solicitation is to exercise clause 15.206 to extend offers due date from December 29, 2025 to February 2, 2026. No changes to the scope of work are being processed under this amendment.

The American Embassy in Tegucigalpa requires preventive maintenance services for Electrical Switchgear systems within the embassy compound.

Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

These services will ensure that all switchgear systems are serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations to maintain readiness and proper system operation.

The anticipated performance period is for one year with option to extend services for two years.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price type contract.

All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations.

This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements
