Description

Dear Prospective Offerors,

The Embassy of the United States of America in Rabat invites qualified and specialized translation and interpretation companies to submit quotations for the provision of simultaneous interpretation services. Six (6) interpreters are required to provide simultaneous interpreting services for thirty-two (32) correctional officers from Africa and the Middle East countries for ten (10) days from January 26 through February 6, 2026. The venue is the DGAPR National Training Institute in Tiflet. Languages needed for this multilingual setting are English, Arabic, French, and Portuguese.



1.Classroom Instruction:

Hours of Engagement:Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Location:DGAPR National Training Institute in Tiflet

Equipment required:3 soundproof booths; 45 headsets; 16 conference/static microphones; 3 portable microphones; and 2 head microphones

Monday, January 26: Tour of the training institute facility in Tiflet (5:00 PM to 6:30 PM)

Tuesday, January 27: Visit to the Tiflet 2 Local Prison (2:00 PM to 6:00 PM)

Wednesday, January 28: Visit to the Tamesna Local Prison (2:00 PM to 6:00 PM)

Friday, January 30: Visit to the Oudaya Local Prison in Marrakesh (8:30 AM to 12:30 PM)

Friday, January 30: Monuments visit in Marrakesh (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM)



Wednesday, February 4: Visit to the Juvenile Reform and Rehabilitation Center and Ain Sebaa Local Prison in Casablanca (8:30 AM to 1:30 PM)

Wednesday, February 4: Visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM)

Equipment required: mobile interpretation equipment that provides wireless, portable solutions for real-time language translation, typically involving interpreters using transmitters and microphones, while participants wear wireless receivers or headsets to hear the translated audio, enabling seamless communication for tours, field visits, and events without fixed booths.

45 mobile headsets are needed for the tours and site visits.

Friday, February 6: Auditorium at the National Training Institute in Tiflet (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM)
