Description

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source modification to an existing contract, and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this action is 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii)(B), Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements (10 U.S.C. 3204[b][B]). The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to issue a two year (one 12-month base effort and two 6-month option periods) performance extension to ARServices, Limited under contract HDTRA1-21-C-0042. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to provide the requested services, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors must respond to this notice on or before the specified response date and time by sending an email to sherry.l.saurage.civ@mail.mil (please copy mary.k.chase2.civ@mail.mil).

Description: The proposed extension will provide a bridge of continuity for essential Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support. The tasks of this effort include specific focus areas providing expertise in support of planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of projects, programs and portfolios across the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosives (CBRNE) spectrum in support of Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and Countering Emerging Threats (CET) missions and objectives.
