Description


Sealed bids will be received by the Walton County Water & Sewerage Authority for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the Hard Labor Creek Water Transmission Main Phase II in Walton County, GA.
Special Conditions: This notice is ONLY for bidders that have already prequalified under the Pre-Qualification for Hard Labor Creek Water Transmission Main submitted on October 9, 2025 and approved by the Walton County Water and Sewerage Authority on November 13, 2025.
Bids will be received at the Walton County Water & Sewerage Authority, 2171 Highway 81, Loganville, GA 30052 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by OWNER. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and location. All bids will be evaluated by OWNER and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within sixty (60) days of the bid opening.
The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements:
Construction of approximately 20,300 linear feet of 30-inch ductile iron pipe water main, 170 feet of 42-inch steel cased jack and bore, 11 gate valves ranging in size from 6-inch to 30-inch, seven air release valve assemblies, six fire hydrants, and connection to the water main installed under Phase 1 of the Hard Labor Creek Water Transmission Main project complete in place, pressure tested and disinfected, ready to operate, and any additional associated work as specified and indicated in the contract documents.
