Copy of Gravel Haul & Application 2026

The RM of Cut Knife No. 439 is seeking tenders for their 2026 gravel haul and the placement of 8000 plus yards of gravel over approximately 100 miles of road. Gravel will be taken from stockpile at the municipal gravel pit at NE 23-44-22-W3rd. Gravelling is expected to commence on or about June 1st, 2026 and is to be completed by July 31st, 2026.

Tenders must provide:

cost per yard per mile with minimum haul at 5 miles,
list of available trucks, including safety certifications,
proof of insurance with minimum $2,000,000 liability coverage,
WCB letter of good standing.

Cost per yard per mile shall be considered inclusive of the bidders cost to supply of all supervision, labour, materials, equipment, tools and all other things necessary for the complete supply of the intended work excepting that the R.M. of Cut Knife prefers to supply their own loader with 3 yard scaled bucket at the pit.

Tenders will be accepted until 12:00 PM (noon) Tuesday February 10th, 2026. All submissions must be dispensed and/or posted with sufficient time or service to assure that they will arrive at the R.M. of Cut Knife administration office prior to the deadline.

Tenders delivered/mailed/emailed/faxed at/to any other location will not be accepted as valid. Onus is on the applicant to ensure that their tender has been received by the Municipality regardless of delivery option. Misdirected, late or unaccounted for tender applications will not be considered. Right to tender remaining sealed is automatically waived on emailed or faxed tenders and on any tender otherwise delivered and not so marked.
