Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has issued a Special Notice regarding its intent to award a sole-source 12-month contract extension for Real Time Transfer Increment 5 (RTS Inc 5) requirements under the existing RTS Inc 5 contract number HM047621C0045. This notice is in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, and is not a request for competitive proposals.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform potential contractors that NGA does not intend to compete this procurement at this time. However, any responsible source that believes it can meet the RTS Inc 5 requirements may submit a capability statement demonstrating its ability to comply with the requirement, which the agency will consider. The capability statement must be sufficiently detailed and include supporting evidence. The agency will make a determination on whether to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses received, which is solely within the government's discretion. Contractors must have a TS/SCI clearance to access any classified details of the RTS Inc 5 contract requirements.
