Solicitation Description:

The City of Waco has issued this solicitation for the construction of concrete flatwork to be completed within fifteen (15) business days of an order. At the City’s discretion, the City may agree to an alternate time period (to respond to an order) via written communication. Concrete flatwork items will include, but not be limited to, sidewalk,residential and commercial drive approaches, curb & gutter, valley gutter, concrete fillets, ADA ramps, and water valve and manhole concrete diamonds. The Contractor is expected to source the appropriate concrete flatwork materials, rent or own the appropriate construction equipment, and perform any labor normally required to construct concrete flatwork. (2) This RFB specifies an annual budget, to be utilized for this contract each fiscal year. The Public Works Department will provide funds for this budget, but will only order the actual quantity of material/labor required, up to the specified budget. Both parties may execute a change order for an approved budget exceedance.(3) This solicitation will result in a multi-award contract allowing the City to select one or more vendors to ensure availability and responsiveness. (4) This RFB provides a fiscal year budget that is renewable, upon agreement by all parties and preapproved by City Council – expected in September of each Fiscal Year, for up to five total fiscal years as follows:i. FY2024-2025, through September 30, 2025ii. FY2025-2026, through September 30, 2026iii. FY2026-2027, through September 30, 2027iv. FY2027-2028, through September 30, 2028v. FY2028-2029, through September 30, 2029
