Project Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the EASTTOWN LIBRARY (the Library) is soliciting sealed bids for Janitorial Services.
All bids must be submitted online at www.pennbid.net. Registration on PennBid is free. Bid instructions and specifications will be uploaded and available for review on or around October 16, 2024. All documents, bid bonds, affidavits and other information accompanying the bids shall be uploaded to the PennBid website. Bids must be submitted no later than 11:00 AM (prevailing local time), November 6, 2024, at which time the bidding will be closed. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price for the contract term must accompany all bids.
One mandatory Library Tour will need to be attended by the bidder’s representative. Tour options are Thursday October 24, 2024 at 1 PM or Tuesday October 29, 2024 at 10 AM, at the Easttown Library.
All questions for the Library shall be asked via the PennBid website. Questions shall not be answered if received after 2:00 pm, (prevailing local time October 30, 2024).
Bids received will be revealed at the conclusion of the bidding period on the PennBid website. THE LIBRARY WILL CONSIDER AND ACT UPON THE CONTRACT AT A REGULAR LIBRARY MEETING AT THE LIBRARY, 720 First Avenue, Berwyn, PA 19312 November 20, 2024 (prevailing local time) or at a subsequent Library meeting. The Library reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any nonconformity deemed in the best interest of Library.
