Project Description: The Hampden Township Sewer Authority, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, will accept sealed proposals electronically via PennBid until 11:00 a.m., prevailing time October 10, 2024 (moved to November 7, 2024, per Addendum #1), for the following:
Delbrook Stormwater BMP
The project generally consists of the installation of manholes to house the injection wells, a high-rate filter bed to provide for pre-treatment prior to injection, and underdrain and header piping from the filter bed to the wells.
All bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid.
Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net). The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price.
Bid Proposals will be opened at 11:15 a.m. on October 10, 2024 (moved to November 7, 2024, per Addendum #1), with bid results made available publicly on PennBid.
It is anticipated that the project cost is at least $25,000; therefore, Pennsylvania prevailing wages under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act will be required.
The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
