Orthopedic Services for White Earth Health Center

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bemidji Area, Bemidji MN intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced Contract on a sole source basis to, ST MARYS REGIONAL HEALTH CENTER for ORTHOPEDIC SERVICES at the White Earth Health Center in Ogema MN. The anticipated period of performance will be for a base plus 3 option years.

The sole source action will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ST MARYS REGIONAL HEALTH CENTER is the only vendor that offers the ORTHOPEDIC services as required by the service unit. The unique nature of this award is that the services are only required (4) times per month. White Earth Health Clinic is located in an isolated area in which specialty services of this nature are not offered. ST MARYS REGIONAL HEALTH CENTER is located in the region and is capable of providing the on-site service.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111 – Office of Physicians (Except Mental Health Specialists)
