(IFB) Substation Battery Inspection and Testing Addendum 1

JEA is seeking a company (the “Company”) to provide battery testing and inspection services for various JEA substations (the “Work”).

JEA is accepting bids for a three-year contract to perform the following tasks in accordance with NERC Standard PRC-005-6. All tasks must be completed within the months listed without exception. The contracted service provider will perform all inspection and testing services, no subcontracting. The contracted service provider will be required to achieve and maintain JEA Safety Prequalification. All employees of the contracted service provider who require entry into substations must complete the 4-hour JEA Substation Safety Training prior to entry. The Substation Safety Training class is offered on the second Tuesday of each month at 8:00 AM at the JEA Utility Training Center. Contact Jim Ayers at 904-665-5362 or ayerjl@jea.com to register.
