Notice of Intent to Sole Source - MRI Tech Six-Month Bridge Contract Fort Meade, MD

The Health Readiness Contracting Office is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government’s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under the authority of FAR 13.501, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204 (c)(1).

This contract will provide personal services for six Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists. The Contractor shall provide health care support for Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center (KACC), Ft. Meade, MD seven days per week during day, night, and weekend shifts. Contractors must possess a current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in a state or territory of the United States of America, and specific certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Contractors must also have at least one year experience in hands-on clinical applications within the last two calendar years. The contract will be comprised of a six-month period of performance from 01 July 2025 to 31 December 2025, and inclusive of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This bridge contract allows time to solicit on the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Q-Coded Services 2 Next Generation (MQS2-NG) mandatory contracting vehicle.
