Harpoon/SLAM-ER Spares

he Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), has awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to Delivery Order (DO) N0001922F2563 under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0006 on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company, 6200 James S McDonnell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63134-1939. This delivery order modification provides for the procurement of Spare Parts for Harpoon Missile System.

This contract was awarded on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of

10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Harpoon Weapon System and its related equipment. The Boeing Company alone has the technical data, experience, requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills and facilities required to provide the services anticipated under these orders. The Boeing Company is the sole owner of technical data for Harpoon and therefore is the only responsible source that can meet the Government's requirement.
