BID 2025-19: Transportation and Disposal of AFFF Foam for Newton County LEPC

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Newton County Commission is seeking bids for the transportation and disposal of 68 containers (five gallon pails) of AFFF fire fighting foam containing PFAS, considered Hazardous Material for the Newton County LEPC. Sealed bids shall be clearly marked “Bid 2025-19: Transportation and Disposal of AFFF Foam for Newton County LEPC.” and will be accepted until 10:30am Thursday, April 24, 2025, at which time the Commission will convene to open and read the bids. Bids must be received no later than the above deadline and must contain enough comprehensive information for evaluation. Any bid not received at the appointed time shall be disqualified. Newton County will not accept any collect calls, COD shipments, postage due mailings, or emailed bids. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Questions relating to this bid shall be referred to EMD Director Charla Geller at 417-451-4357. The bid invitation and specifications are available at the office of the Newton County Commission located in the Newton County Courthouse, Neosho, Missouri 64850.
