Document and Media Shredding Services
No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research ONLY.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District is seeking sources for document and media shredding services at the following locations:
USACE Baltimore (2HP) Location
The only requirement for the 2HP location is unclassified paper shredding
Washington Aqueduct Division (WAD) Locations:
6000 MacArthur Blvd (FRE), Bethesda, MD
5900 MacArthur Blvd (DAL), NW, Washington, DC
2500 1st Street (MCM), NW, Washington, DC
Service Requirements for each WAD Location:
6000 MacArthur Blvd (FRE), Bethesda, MD
5900 MacArthur Blvd (DAL), NW, Washington, DC
2500 1st Street (MCM), NW, Washington, DC
The shredding contractor shall provide the following at each of the WAD locations:
Lockable Shred Console Bins: At least 10 bins (~80-100 lbs. capacity) for documents, with 5 containers at FRE, 4 at DAL, and 1 at MCM.
Lockable Portable Shred Trash Cans: At least 3 containers (~350/94-gal capacity) for documents, with one placed at each of the following locations: FRE, DAL, and MCM.
Media Shredding: At least 1 lockable portable shred trash can (~350/94-gal capacity) for media (CDs, disks, phones, hard drives) at DAL, serviced annually on-site.
Battery Removal and Destruction: The contractor shall remove all batteries from iPhones prior to destroying them and sign a certificate of destruction in accordance with paragraph 2.3, annually on-site, at DAL.
This contract may be awarded for the two areas collectively or separately for the USACE Baltimore (2HP) area and the Washington Aqueduct Division (WAD) area.
Interested vendors wishing to be considered by the Government as described above must provide a copy of capability statements/ data no later than 10 NOVEMBER 2025, 11:10 AM EDT, to Contract Specialist, Eulanda Scott-Shingleton, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, Contracting Division, via email to eulanda.a.scott-shingleton@usace.army.mil.
