The Town of Yarmouth, acting through its Town Administrator, invites sealed proposals from qualified professional firms for:
Fiber Network Design and Installation
in accordance with the specifications set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents.
The Town's current grant funding for this project is $236,151.00, which is expected to cover all or part of the core network scope. Additional funding from the Town's Golf Division and other sources may support the inclusion of alternate sites as part of the final contract award.
This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 30B, Uniform Procurement Act, Section 6, and all contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of this Act. The Town has no discretion under the law to consider proposals that fail to comply with those requirements, except for minor informalities as permitted by MGL Chapter 30B Section 5(f). If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request.

Proposals must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes labeled: "Technical Proposal" and "Price Proposal." Both envelopes must be received by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 29, 2025, at the Office of the Town Administrator, Yarmouth Town Hall, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664. Proposals will be opened and read immediately after closing time, and this process will not be public. The Town anticipates awarding the contract within 90 days of the proposal deadline

The Town reserves the right to award the Base Bid or any combination of Alternate Bids based on available funding and project priorities.
The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to cancel this RFP or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, if cancellation or rejection is determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
