The City of Pasadena is seeking proposals from qualified insurance brokerage firms to serve as Broker of Record for all employee benefit programs (excluding Medical and Retirement, both of which are contracted through CalPERS). The selected broker will provide comprehensive services including strategic planning, marketing, negotiation, implementation, and ongoing support for the City’s benefit offerings.
The City of Pasadena is committed to providing a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports the health and well-being of its employees. With a workforce of approximately 2,190 benefit-eligible employees, the City offers a range of programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and other related benefits.
As part of its ongoing effort to ensure fiscal responsibility and program excellence, the City is seeking an experienced insurance broker to serve as Broker of Record for benefit programs. The selected broker will act as a strategic partner, helping the City evaluate its current offerings, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
