Title: Nebraska Garage Barrier Wall Replacement
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 1/12/2026
Due Date: 2/11/2026
The City of Hollywood, Florida (“City”), through its Parking Division, is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and safety of approximately 4,700 public parking spaces throughout the City. These facilities include multiple public parking garages, surface lots, and on-street parking areas that support residents, visitors, and local businesses in both the downtown and beach districts. The Parking Division oversees all aspects of parking operations including structural maintenance, enforcement, customer service, collections, and capital improvement projects to ensure that City facilities remain safe, reliable, and accessible.
Purpose of Solicitation
As part of the City’s ongoing commitment to safety and infrastructure integrity, a recent structural assessment identified a damaged 22-foot concrete barrier wall located on the 4th floor of the Nebraska Parking Garage at 327 Nebraska Street, Hollywood, FL 33019. This barrier wall serves as a critical safety element, protecting vehicles and pedestrians within the facility.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit qualified and experienced contractors to remove and replace the damaged concrete barrier wall, including all associated demolition, disposal, reinforcement, construction, and finishing work. The new barrier wall must be designed and constructed in accordance with all applicable building codes, engineering specifications, and safety standards, and it must match the existing structure’s appearance and finish to maintain a consistent aesthetic within the facility.
The selected contractor will be expected to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, permits, and documentation required to complete the project from start to finish. Upon completion, the contractor will deliver a fully compliant, structurally sound barrier wall along with all required as-built drawings, inspection reports, and warranty documentation.
