RE: ADDENDUM #1, BID NO. 20260234, ACCESS CONTROL PANEL SYSTEM CONTRACTOR – ANNUAL
CONTRACT
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force
and effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the
additions, deletions and revisions as listed herein.
Item #1:
QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: Is there a markup maximum on the unit price contract?
A1: This contract is based on an hourly labor bid rate. All materials purchased will be assessed a fixed
seven (7%) percent markup.
Q2: Can we use discounted catalog parts pricing book for this project:
A2: No – These must be OME parts Schlage, Wisenet and Axis per established building security standards.
Q3: Is Charlotte County open to pricing for a dedicated Embedded Site Technician to work at your
site for a number of days per week?
A3: No – This is a very fluid work order based system and it wouldn’t be effective to pick a couple of days to
have someone embedded if there was nothing going on but are still paying for this service.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260234.
Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
