Sealed bids will be received by the City of Manhattan, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas, until the above time, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will be returned to the bidder unopened. These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for:

ST2602 & WA2607

The project will include but is not limited to the following major categories of work:

1. PAVEMENT REMOVAL 13,747 SY

2. CONCRETE PAVEMENT (7” UNIFORM)(AE)(NRDJ) 13,031 SY

3. AGGREGATE BASE (AB-3) 13,742 SY

4. TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL 1 LS

TIME LIMIT:

Early Start Date: May 25, 2026

Late Start Date: June 8, 2026

Milestone: Browning Avenue Substantial Completion and Pavement Markings by August 7, 2026

Substantial Completion: December 31, 2026

Final Completion: 20 Working Days

The Contractor’s operations in the prosecution of the work shall be continuous until complete unless otherwise approved by the Engineer, in accordance with Section R.
