Annual Labor - Sewer Lines

Henry County Water Authority¿s annual labor contract work includes sewer line extensions and/or sewer line relocations. Portions of the projects will include installation of new sewer lines along rural area roadways, new extensions along stream corridors, the relocation of existing lines in more urbanized areas due to road improvement projects, and/or rehabilitation of lines in older subdivisions. This information should be considered when preparing bids. Since developers/residents pay for most line extensions, The Authority has no list available for proposed extensions that may evolve throughout the year. Sewer line relocation projects will generally follow proposed road improvement projects planned throughout the year 2026 by the Henry County SPLOST Department, the Henry County Department of Transportation, and/or the Georgia Department of Transportation. A list of the proposed projects may be obtained from each of those offices. Scheduling of road projects is subject to change with very little advanced notice. Therefore, it is important for contractors to have adequate equipment and personnel available to perform multiple projects simultaneously.
