Notice to Bidders
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Sandusky, addressed to the Department of Public
Works at 240 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, Ohio 44870, until 12:30pm on Thursday, October 29,
2026, and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter, for the:
Chemicals FY2027
Copies of the bid documents may be sent electronically at NO CHARGE upon email request to
the email below. If a hard copy of the bid book is preferred, requests must be made in writing
so that a book may be produced within 24 hours at a cost of $50.00. The purchaser shall bare
all shipping costs or make arrangements to pick up documents. Contact Melissa Vassallo at

All questions shall be submitted no later than 8:00am on Friday, October 23, 2026, through
written means only and directed to the Project Manager, Megan Stookey at
mstookey@cityofsandusky.com.
The City's Equal Opportunity Requirements are applicable to the Contract. Any Proposed Equal
for a Standard shall be submitted to the Department of Public Works no later than 10 days prior
to the bid opening. If no Addendum is issued accepting the Proposed Equal as an Approved
Equal, the Proposed Equal shall be considered rejected.
