Bid Description:
The Town of Stowe Electric Department (SED), a Vermont municipal electric department, is soliciting bids for the repowering of the Smith’s Falls Hydroelectric Dam. Interested bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting on January 6, 2026, starting at 9AM, at 435 Moscow Road, Stowe, Vermont. The project calls for the rehabilitation of the existing dam, installation of a new hydroelectric facility (power house, turbine, generator, controls, etc.), and associated site work.
