Title: Digital Signage Kiosk System

The County of Sacramento is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to replace two indoor digital signage kiosks. The kiosks will be located the main lobby of the County's Administration Building, and must meet all relevant technical, accessibility, and operational requirements. The kiosks will display public meeting agendas and other legal notices in PDF format, building directories, County department directories, County News and Events via RSS feed, elected official information, date and time, and 7-day weather forecast. Integration with an Agenda Management Software System is not required as external organizations do not utilize the County’s system to generate agendas. The project is expected to be completed prior to April 2026.
The Sacramento County Clerk of the Board of Supervisors plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements, including adherence to California’s Brown Act, which mandates transparency and public access to government proceedings. Central to this responsibility is the posting of meeting agendas and legal notices, which must be made publicly available at least 72 hours in advance of meetings to ensure community members have sufficient opportunity to review and engage with matters before the Board. The Clerk also ensures that all public notices and agendas are displayed in accordance with legal requirements. The Clerk’s office is essential to maintaining transparency, accountability, and public participation in local government.
