#8269 Field House HVAC System Replacement

Project Description: Pennsylvania College of Technology is seeking bids for a: Single prime contractor to remove and dispose of one 40-ton packaged HVAC unit with accessories, concrete slab and associated piping and electrical. Contractor to furnish and install one (1) new 40-ton packaged HVAC unit to include installation of a new concrete slab, associated piping, electrical and any accessories along with interior DuctSox at the Field House. Bidding documents are available at no cost, via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). A non-mandatory, but highly encouraged, pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, 12 November 2025. Prospective bidders will meet at the main entrance to the Field House, located at 209 College Avenue, Williamsport, PA. Bids will be accepted until 2:30 PM on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, via the PennBid Program. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond of an approved Surety Company, certified check, or cashier’s check in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. Bond or check shall be drawn in favor of Pennsylvania College of Technology. This project is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, of August 15, 1961, P.L. as amended and supplemented. Bids must be in the hands of the undersigned at the stated date and time, when bids will be electronically opened. The College reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding, reject any or all bids, select a single item from any bid, or accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the College.
