Sealed bids will be received by Swarthmore Borough, via the PennBID Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/) until 11:00 o’clock AM, prevailing time, on the 1st day of July 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly open and read for the construction of:
HENDERSON FIELD STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS
CONTRACT NO. 2025-01

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
The project includes the rehabilitation of stormwater culverts including repairing and repointing abutments, cast-in-place concrete slab repairs, stormwater inlet replacements, railing replacements, curbs, and full depth pavement restorations.
This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
