Description
The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) is requesting contractors with proven capacity,
capabilities and experience to supply a new electric ice resurfacer (the Goods/Services) to
provide a quotation on the form attached at Schedule A (the Quotation) in response to the
following specifications:
Battery System: Battery-powered operation to maximize runtime and reduce emissions.
Resurfacing Capacity: Capable of 6–8 full ice resurfacings per charge (minimum) to support a busy single-rink schedule.
Charging Equipment: Include appropriate charging equipment or specify required infrastructure. Fast-charging capability and all necessary charging accessories should be provided or clearly identified.
Ice Quality Features: Equipped with basic automated ice-quality controls (e.g., consistent water distribution, blade depth control) to help maintain a high-quality ice surface with minimal manual adjustment.
Warranty: Backed by a comprehensive warranty covering parts and labor.
Service Support: Local service availability in British Columbia for maintenance and repairs (proximity to FVRD is an asset for quick support).
Training: Operator training for staff upon delivery, including basic maintenance and safety training, should be provided as part of the quote.
Optional Features: Recommendations for any optional equipment or features that would enhance performance or longevity (e.g., advanced water treatment add-ons, etc.) may be included. Please list these options separately with associated costs
