- Summary:Frederick Water invites qualified firms to submit their qualifications (SOQs) for a design-build project to provide advanced treatment at the Henry F. Sliwinski (HFS) WTP. The HFS WTP receives raw water from two quarry pits, Pit 2 and East Pit. Frederick Water has developed the East Pit quarry and raw water pump station to provide both water supply and drought storage Due to TDS and sulfate levels in the East Pit raw water, advanced treatment will be required to comply with drinking water standards. The objective of this project is to implement innovative and efficient treatment technologies for the production of high-quality drinking water according to the requirements set forth in this RFQ.
