Description
Sources Sought Notice (SSN)

Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 16
(NCO16)

This SSN is for market research and planning purposes only and shall not be considered an
Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Task Execution Plan, Request for Quotation (RFQ), or a
Request for Proposal (RFP). Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to
acquire any products or services described in this SSN. Your response to this SSN will be treated
only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for
direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this SSN. This request does not constitute
a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter negotiations to award a contract. No funds
have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted, or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this SSN.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561621
with a size standard of $25.0 Million and Product Service Code (PSC) of N063.

Please note that this is a draft Statement of Work. The approximate start date is 01 January 2026.

Contractor Requirements:
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision necessary to provide a fully automatic door opener at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital at 4300 West 7th Street, Little Rock, AR 72005. The location is 6C-146 (PFT Clinic).

The contractor shall deliver and install new equipment no later than 30 days from the award of the contract and notice to proceed has been issued.

All electrical power will be provided by the agency.

All work shall be performed Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, excluding federal holidays.
Equipment Needed:
One (1) Horton pair of operators (brand name preferred)
6 to 8 wide doors
Activation buttons or sensors

Performance Monitoring / Quality Assurance:
1.1 Per the expressed written authority issued by the Contracting Officer (CO), no such changes/modifications shall be administered without the guidance and approval of the CO.
Safety:
The contractor shall supervise all work under this contract and maintain a continual presence at the work site whenever the subcontractors are present.
Period of Performance
1.2 The work will start Monday, January 12, 2026, and be completed by Friday, January 30, 2026.
1.3 The contractor shall present an acceptable schedule at the time of award.
