Installation and Removal Services for Deep Well Line-Shaft and Submersible Motor Pumps (Well Pumps)

The City of Tucson is seeking to award multiple vendors to provide well pump removal and installation services for deep well line-shaft and submersible motor pumps for the Water Department.

The well pumps to be serviced vary in size up to fourteen inches (14”) in diameter and up to eight hundred feet (800”) in depth of setting.

Well pumps are located within the City of Tucson and in surrounding areas of Pima County.

The Scope of Work will vary for each site. The City will provide a Scope of Work for each site to the Contractor before work begins at that site. The Contractor will state the amount of time needed to complete each Scope of Work. For pump downtime in excess of that stated by the Contractor for each Scope of Work or agreed upon between the Contractor and the Contract Representative, liquidated damages will be assessed in accordance with Section 5 of the Special Terms and Conditions.
