REQUEST FOR SEALED PROPOSALS

Notice is hereby given that the City of San Juan is seeking sealed proposals for STREET IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT - NEBRASKA AVE & DOUGLAS STREET addressed to Lori A. Maldonado, Purchasing Agent, City of
San Juan, 512 S. Nebraska Avenue, San Juan, Texas, 78589-2649 no later than THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2026,
at 10:00 A.M., at which time they will be taken to the City Hall Conference Room.

Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications are available from LeFevre Engineering
located at 1004 W. Frontage Road, San Juan, Texas 78589, contact may be made at (956)540-9428, upon request
and payment of $200.00. The payment is non-refundable.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted by the Owner on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the City of San
Juan City Hall, located at 512 S. Nebraska, San Juan, Texas, 78589.

A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% (5 percent) of the bid issued by any acceptable surety shall be submitted with each
bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of San Juan or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as per
value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.

The contract is subject to the requirements of the Davis Bacon Wage Act and all reporting requirements. Wages paid
on this project will be governed by the Department of Labor (DOL) Wage General Decision or Decisions included within
the bid documents of this project. The contract will also be subject to monitoring and reporting requirements described
in the bid documents.

The City of San Juan reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all
formalities or technicalities or to accept the proposal to be the best and most advantageous to the City, and

hold the proposal for a period of 60 days without taking action. Proposals submitted past the aforementioned date
and time will not be accepted.

Caution to those submitting bids; those not in the proper form may be rejected.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO RESPOND

Firms interested in submitting a bid on RFB NO. 26-004-05-07 as outlined in the specifications, should indicate
their intention by signing, dating and returning the form to the email address below prior to May 4, 2026,
so that they may receive any addendums to the specifications should the need arise.
