Approved Brands
Approved brands are listed on the line item tab for each bid line. DOT is allowing for pre-bid substitutions. Responders must submit the Pre-Bid Substitution Request for Approval of Material or Product Form, including alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. The form can be found in the attachment tab and instruction are located in the activity tab as well as on the form. All submissions must need to be received on or before the date and time listed on the form to be considered for evaluation. Communication Until a contract is awarded the sole point of contact for the solicitation is the Purchasing Agent identified in the solicitation. All questions must be directed solely to the purchasing agent listed in the bid opportunity. We encourage vendor to upload all questions on or before the question cut off due date and time in ION wave. Responses to questions will be communicated out to vendors via DOT’s ION wave bid system. Responses shall be submitted within DOT’s IONwave Bid System or signed and prepared in ink or typewritten in the solicitation documents provided. Telephonic, email or facsimile responses shall not be considered .
