To furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to complete all work for the FY26 – Windom Elementary –
Fire Sprinkler Upgrade project, in accordance with Drawings and Specifications prepared by KFI Engineers.
A complete set of Contract Documents will be available Friday, January 9, 2026 by the end of day.

CDN Website and reference #9989317. Electronic downloads are available by visiting www.QuestCDN.com. The cost
for downloading a set of Contract Documents is $22. Please contact QuestCDN.com at 952-233-1632 or

In the left column under “Plan rooms”, select “Order from Plan Well”.
When the next page opens, skip the username section and in the left column under “Public Plan room”, select “Go”.
Once in the plan room, you may find the project and click on the project number link to the left.
Once in the project, select “Download Complete Set”, then “Instant Download”.
After Registration, select “Download Now”. You will be provided with a link to the files. Simply click it and save to your
computer.
You must complete the checkout process, or you will not be notified when Addenda are issued.
A mandatory pre bid meeting for the Windom Elementary – Fire Sprinkler upgrade project will be held Friday, January
23rd, 2026. The meeting starts at 8:00 AM, at Windom Elementary, 5821 Wentworth Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55419. Meet
in the cafeteria.
All potential bidders are REQUIRED to attend this meeting. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend too. Prompt
attendance is required, and no bidder will be permitted in the mandatory pre bid meeting after the meeting has started.
Bids will be received via email at rfx@mpls.k12.mn.us AND mauricio.ochoa@mpls.k12.mn.us until the date and time
specified above. There will be a virtual bid opening at the date and time specified above. If you would like to be included
for the virtual bid opening, please email mauricio.ochoa@mpls.k12.mn.us and you will be sent a link to the virtual bid
opening.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit of 2% of the total amount bid in the form of a certified check or bidder’s
corporate surety bond made payable to Special School District No. 1. Include a PDF copy of the certified check or
bidder’s corporate bond when you email your Bid Form.
Special School District No. 1 reserves the right to award this bid in part or in whole to a single supplier or to reject any
or all bids if it is in the best interest of the School District to do so. Bids must be typewritten or handwritten and include
handwritten signature in ink.
