*** 03/26/2026 Amendement to add RFI document 1 ***

The 439th Security Forces Squadron has the following requirement for a Group 2 unmanned aircraft system (UAS):

This RFQ is being solicited to procure one Group 2 unmanned aircraft system (UAS) (salient features listed in document "Group 2 Salient Features FINAL"), a training program to spin up members on the operation of the drone system, and a yearly maintenance plan to maintain the hardware and software for the drone system.

The system must provide a reliable, autonomous aerial platform capable of operating for extended durations in order to enhance situational awareness of low-altitude unmanned aircraft activity and support installation security and force protection missions. The required system must consist of a multi-rotor hexacopter aircraft constructed of carbon fiber materials and powered by six brushless motors to ensure flight stability, redundancy, and payload support. The aircraft must incorporate an advanced autopilot system equal to or exceeding the capability of the Pixhawk Blue Cube to support autonomous flight control, mission planning, and system integration. The procurement must also include initial operator training and technical support required to enable safe and effective operation of the system by government personnel. (salient features listed in document "Group 2 Salient Features FINAL")

All interested parties must review the attached PWS to understand the full scope of the contract.

Acquisition: The government will issue a single award, Firm Fixed Price contract.

Evaluation will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) and the ability to conform to the PWS 100% (see attachments)

- Technical acceptability: 100% conform to the PWS and complete 100% of the "Drone CLIN Structure" document (see attachments)

- Price: Lowest price will be ranked highest

Actions required by potential offerors:

- Complete and fill out 100% of the "Drone CLIN Structure" document (see attachments)

- Submit a specification sheet for the proposed drone

SAM Registration: Prior to supplying a proposal, interested offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the SAM internet website at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/

Request For Information (RFI) questions are required to be turned in to the government by April 06 2026 at 12:00 noon.
