The Navajo Division of Transportation (Navajo DOT) is facing a critical equipment shortage that hinders its ability to complete numerous road projects and daily operational duties across Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico.
To resolve this, the Navajo DOT Compliance Department is seeking a preferred vendor capable of supporting a large region spanning Colorado and New Mexico. This equipment is urgently needed to support recently increased staffing and onboarding personnel across both administration and field operations.
Acquiring these surveying and data collection resources is of the utmost importance to the entire Navajo DOT. The equipment will enable staff to professionally complete essential tasks—including legal surveying, archaeological assessments, and environmental reviews—for both Federal
Highway Administration (FHWA) and non-FHWA projects. Vendors responding to the RFP must
provide comprehensive cost information encompassing all expected expenses.
