Roadway & Drainage Re-Engineering Project — Phases 1–3

Project Description: Austin Borough is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified Civil and Municipal Engineering Firms to provide Preliminary Engineering Services for the Borough’s multi-phase Roadway & Drainage Re-Engineering Project. The project encompasses ADA-accessible sidewalk redesign, stormwater management improvements, and roadway profile re-engineering across approximately 6 miles of paved Borough roads.
This RFP covers the Preliminary Engineering phase only for Phases 1, 2, and 3 of the Borough’s long-term infrastructure program. Final design, permitting support, and construction-phase services are not included in this solicitation and will be procured separately, contingent upon grant award and available funding.
All preliminary engineering work performed under this RFP will be grant-funded. Award of this contract, and all payments, are fully contingent upon the availability of grant funds. The Borough reserves the right to delay, modify, or cancel work if grant funding is delayed or not awarded.
