VI: Qualifications

1. Be a current Maryland Licensed Tree Expert (LTE)

2. Have at least one International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist on staff

3. Have a current Maryland Department of Agriculture license to apply pesticides

4. Minimum of 5 years of experience working on a similar scope of work in a municipality or similar residential community.

5. Demonstrated knowledge of Maryland-native tree species and urban forestry best practices

6. Commitment to safety of residents

VII: Proposal Requirements

Interested contractors should submit:

1. A cover letter summarizing qualifications, including the number of work crews available as well as fleet capabilities

2. Copy of Maryland Licensed Tree Expert (LTE) license

3. Copy of resume and ISA certification of proposed estimator/arborist representative for contract

4. Copy of MDA license and registered employee card(s) for staff who apply pesticides

5. A sample of previous contracted work (tree maintenance specifications)

6. Fee schedule or proposed pricing structure (see Attachment A)

7. Contact information of at least three professional references for similar-sized scopes

8. Contact information of at least two professional references for proposed estimator/arborist representative

9. Copy of certificate of liability insurance

10. Affidavits on Non-Collusion and Non-Conviction (attached hereto)

The successful proposer(s) will be required to execute the attached contract.
