Description

SYNOPSIS - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 15-day notification. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce that Naval Air Warfare Command Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with EWA Government Systems, 13873 Park Center RD STE 500, Herndon, VA 20171 for the continued support, sustainment, modeling and simulation support for proprietary EWA stimulator/simulation systems for the NAVAIR ground test sites.



REQUIREMENTS:



The scope of the resultant contract will include the following:




  • Provide comprehensive engineering support to update/maintain existing threat simulators/stimulators at the Naval Air Warfare Centers (NAWC).

  • Design, develop, integrate and test threat Radio Frequency (RF) simulation/stimulation systems derived from intelligence data to be used for the RDT&E of radar and RF systems and subsystems.

  • Perform studies and analyses of threat systems and provide technical expertise at design reviews and technical interchange meetings that include but are not limited to the Test and Evaluation Threat Resource Activity (TETRA) and the Integrated Technical Evaluation and Analysis of Multiple Sources (ITEAMS) reviews, and MSIC SAM Symposiums.



There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
