Carbondale Park Improvements - Carbondale, KS

The City of Carbondale, KS is inviting Bids for the Work involving the Carbondale Park Improvements project located at 150 N. Kansas St., Carbondale, Kansas 66414, as designated in the Bid Documents.

BG Consultants will receive bids on behalf of the City of Carbondale for a Contract for the Project. Qualified General Contractors may submit as the General Contractor for this Work.

Bidding Documents may be obtained and examined online, on or after Thursday, February 26, 2026 , via the Drexel Technologies, Inc. Planroom, https://projectbids.drexeltech.com/ . Bidding Documents may also be obtained from BG Consultants, Inc., located at 4806 Vue du Lac Pl., Manhattan, KS 66503, upon payment of $250.00 for each set. Requests shall be made to Grant Urban, Project Architect, (785) 320-2660.

Bids will be accepted by the following method: Submitted in a sealed envelope delivered to Carbondale City Hall at 234 Main Street, Carbondale, KS 66414 by Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:00am. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by BG Consultants at Carbondale City Hall, located at 234 Main Street, Carbondale, KS 66414 by Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:15am.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10:00am, located at Carbondale City Hall, 234 Main Street, Carbondale, KS 66414, immediately followed by a tour of the project scope areas at 150 N. Kansas St., Carbondale, KS 66414.

Bidders are encouraged to visit the site upon request prior to the Bid opening to satisfy themselves with the existing conditions. Requests shall be made to Heather Garrison, Carbondale City Library Director, director@carbondalecitylibrary.org , (785) 836-7638. No allowances shall be made to bidders for negligence for not visiting the site.

All Bidders are subject to and must comply with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
