PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF AN 80 NICHE COLUMBARIUM
The Town of Shrewsbury is seeking written quotes from qualified contractors for the purchase and installation of an 80 Niche Columbarium at the Mountain View Cemetery. All contractors must submit quotes in conformance with this solicitation and the Scope of Work Statement which shall be available online at https://shrewsburyma.gov/bids and also in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury (phone: 508-841-8508). Town Offices are open Mon, Wed, Thu 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Tue 8:00 AM-6:30 PM; and Fri 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.
The Columbarium shall be installed on an existing concrete base measuring approximately 110 inches x 40 inches. The Niche Columbaria shall be an 80 unit (40 front, 40 back) rectangular columbarium. 8 niche wide by 5 niche high with an approximate size of 6’ high by 9’ long by 38” wide. The Scope of Work Statement contains additional specifications.
The work required shall be completed by November 1, 2026.
This request for quotes shall be governed by MGL ch. 30, sec. 39M.

The Town reserves the right to waive any minor informalities in the quotes and to reject any and all quotes if it shall be deemed in the best interests of the Town to do so.
