Description
Intent to Sole Source 36C24225Q0951. This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, Regional Procurement Office - East, on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Rd, Northport, NY 11768 intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Alliant Enterprises, LLC for EVIS X1 Endoscopy System in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.303-2.
The Gastroenterology Service is requesting replacement endoscopy equipment that has reached its end of life. This request will replace outdated equipment that will be traded in with this purchase, the Olympus Evis X1 is an advanced endoscopy system designed to enhance the detection, characterization, and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. This advanced imaging technology will enhance the diagnosis and treatment capabilities in minimally invasive procedures. The system will be used to support both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
This sole source award to Alliant Enterprises, LLC is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) - soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This Special Notice is being issued for information purposes only. The formal Justification & Approval for this action shall be posted on this site in accordance with FAR Part 6.305(a) within 14 days after final award. NAICS: 334510, SBA Size Standard: 1,250 employees, PSC: 6515. END OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE.
All responses are due no later than 15:00 EST on August 20, 2025.
