IFB26-001 Annual Medical Physicals for Fire/EMS

The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County, Georgia (¿the Owner¿) seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide NFPA 1582 Firefighter Annual Medical Physicals for Glynn County Fire Rescue personnel. Approximately 130 members will require comprehensive evaluations each year, beginning in January¿February 2026. The initial contract term will be one year, with the option to renew annually based on performance and funding.

The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering complete NFPA 1582-compliant annual evaluations, including all required medical history, physical examination, laboratory testing, screenings, and counseling components. Evaluations must be conducted on-site within Glynn County or by mobile clinic, completed over a 3-day period with a makeup day, and include timely delivery of individual results, fitness-for-duty determinations, and an aggregate health report.

GCFR is seeking a partner who can ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in administering firefighter medical evaluations, while minimizing operational disruption and supporting the department¿s broader wellness and risk reduction initiatives.
