V-22 Software Sustainment Defect Package (SSDP)

Naval Air Systems Command, V-22 Joint Program Office, PMA-275 issued a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Delivery Order N0001924F5561 to the Bell Boeing Joint Program Office on a sole source basis for non-recurring engineering for the development of software corrections to address Software Sustainment Defect Packages (SSDP) for the V-22 avionics and flight control systems.

This action was awarded on a sole source basis to the Bell Boeing Joint Program Office in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The limited rights possessed by the Government to the required technical data preclude competition for this efforrt.
