Municipal Solid Waste Collection and Disposal and Recyclables Collection

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Trumbauersville (hereinafter referred to as "The Borough") online via the PennBid website until 10:00 AM prevailing time, on Friday, September 19, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened on the PennBid website and posted online and at the Trumbauersville Borough Building located at One Evergreen Drive, Trumbauersville, PA 18970.
Bids will be received for the following:
Municipal Solid Waste Collection and Disposal and Recyclables Collection for the three (3) years commencing on January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2028, with an option bid for an extension for two (2) years for the period commencing on January 1, 2029, and ending December 31, 2030.
Bidding documents, including, but not limited to Instructions to Bidders, General Specifications, Detailed Specifications, and Additional Requirements for Bidders, are currently available at no cost through PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall include bid security for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to Trumbauersville Borough. In addition, proof of previous experience with this type of work will be required. Bids must be submitted unconditionally.
The accepted bid will be awarded by the Borough Council at a subsequent public council meeting. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for any cause whatsoever; waive any informality, irregularity, or technicality; exercise its judgment as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered; and accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough. Bids may be held by the Borough for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
