INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids addressed to the City Secretary’s Office, “Sealed Bid Project 25-11 Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Emergency Generators – Round 2”, 101 Pennsylvania Ave., Webster, TX 77598, will be received until 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at which time the names of the bidder will be read aloud, for furnishing all labor, supplies and supervision necessary for construction in accordance with plans and specifications for the:

Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Emergency Generators Round 2 City of Webster Bid No. 25-11

The scope of this project consists primarily of installing emergency generators, including supporting infrastructure, at existing sanitary sewer lift stations.

BIDDERS should inspect the site and be knowledgeable of all local conditions. Time of completion shall be as stated by Bidder on the Bid Form, including weekends and holidays. All bids must be plainly marked with the project name and bid number. No faxed bids will be accepted.

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS Contract documents including bid proposal forms, plans sheets, and specifications for the Project may be viewed and downloaded by registering with www.civcastusa.com .

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be conducted at the Webster Service Center, 855 Magnolia, Webster, TX 77598 at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier’s check, acceptable to the owner, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guaranty. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond each in the amount of the contract and a maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract.

NO BID may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening for at least ninety (90) calendar days.

THE CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and award the bid to the lowest responsive and most qualified bidder.
