2050 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE. The City of Golden Valley seeks a consultant team to lead and deliver the full comprehensive plan update, building on the City’s previous 2040 Comprehensive Plan and long-standing planning frameworks. The firm selected will work as a planning partner to collaborate with City staff, elected and appointed officials, community members, regional partners, and other stakeholders throughout the process and to provide the technical expertise, facilitation, creativity, and strategic thinking necessary to develop a 2050 Comprehensive Plan that is both aspirational and implementable. Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2026, those received after that will not be considered. A copy of the RFP can be viewed on our website: Bid Postings • RFP: 2050 Comprehensive Plan . All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted via e-mail to planning@goldenvalleymn.gov by or before 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2026.
